We are an extremely fun-loving, broad-minded, easy-going, close-knit family of 4 (5 including our equally fun son-in-law) that engages in harmless banter through the day. We live and let live, and believe that independence of all kinds is of prime importance. We love living and eating healthy, and traveling.
Our son, Pulkit, is extremely caring, and soft-hearted. He is undoubtedly the funny one in any party, he loves watching plays, can recount any dialogue from any movie, so he is obviously a movie-buff, and into horror, and he loves long walks with music. Forget and forgive is the motto he lives by. Currently, he is the showman of our family business, a chain of restaurants in Mumbai, called Chholay, and manages it end-to-end. It has been in existence for the past 4 years and is only expanding.
I, his father, have a background in hotel management, and have been the COO of masterchef Sanjeev Kapoor's company, Khana Khazana India Private Limited for 19 years.
His mother, Shikha, has been a teacher, and then a homemaker and is currently the CTO or chief "tasting" officer of the restaurant and the woman behind the recipes served at the restaurant and the good food we have eaten all our lives.
Pulkit's sister, Anubhuti, is a journalist with Forbes India magazine, and his brother-in-law, Amol, is a marketing manager-international business with Bajaj Auto. They both live in Pune, while we are settled in Mumbai's Andheri West.
